Psychological Awakening

This site is for those who have some sense that there is more to life than one sees in the material world. Some may feel this because of a vague dissatisfaction with what they understand about life while others may feel this as a subtle questioning of the mysteriousness of life. The truth that can be uncovered and regained is simply hidden by the constant stream of thought parading through the mind. That thought creates concepts and those concepts create barriers to and distortions of the experience of the fullness and wholeness of  life. There ARE specific answers to these vague questions. One just needs to look strongly.

The mind needn’t be still, it just needs not to be absorbed in the thought streams that run through it. As the mind becomes less and less absorbed in thought, mental clarity re-emerges. This clarity is without stereotyping and preconception. With this as a view, the world is seen more truthfully and dissatisfactions disappear. This view is the “psychologically awakened.”

There is such a thing as a psychological awakening. Typically, it occurs after absorption in thought is significantly diminished. Interest in thought can completely and permanently drop away but this needn’t happen. What must happen is that all thought-created concepts must virtually drop away, at least long enough to see without any conceptualizations whatsoever.
